The International Bar Association holds its annual conference Oct. 3-8, 2010, in Vancouver, BC. mw
The International Bar Association presents the 4th World Women Lawyers Conference April 15-16, 2010, in London. Plenary sessions are on rainmaking and legal management. Focus groups are on trafficking of women and children, bankruptcy and finance, corporate social responsibility, and mergers and acquisitions. mw
The 2009 Annual Meeting of Law and Society Association Thursday, May 28 through Sunday, May 31, at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in the city of Denver. The theme is Law, Power, and Inequality in the 21st Century.
The Lavender Law Career Fair and Conference — the annual conference of the National Lesbian and Gay Law Association — will be in Brooklyn Sept. 10-12, 2009. A newsletter announcement is here.
The International Bar Association holds its annual meeting in Buenos Aires Oct. 12-17, 2008.
The ABA’s 2008 annual meeting is Aug. 7-12, 2008, in New York City.

The next J. Reuben Clark Law Society Conference will be held February 12-14, 2009, at Harvard University.
The 2008 Annual Conference of the Society of Legal Scholars will take place at the London School of Economics and Political Science, Sept. 15-18, 2008. The theme of the conference is “The Impact of Legal Scholarship.” Visit the Society’s website to see the different sections’ calls for papers.
The 20th Anniversary Celebration Lavender Law Conference (presented by the National Lesbian and Gay Law Association) will be Sept. 4-6, 2008, in San Francisco.
The ABA Forum on Communications Law presents its 13th Annual Conference, Feb. 14-16, 2008.
The National Legal Aid & Defender Association (NLADA) holds its annual conference Nov. 7-10, 2007, in Tucson, AZ. The theme is “Leading the Way Toward Justice & Equality.”
The J. Reuben Clark Law Society holds its Annual Conference at Arizona State University Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law (Tempe, AZ), on February 14-16, 2008. (The Law Society’s mission states “We affirm the strength brought to the law by a lawyer’s personal religious conviction. We strive through public service and professional excellence to promote fairness and virtue founded upon the rule of law.”)
