Calls for Papers: Nominations for AALS Section on Law & Religion – Annual Award for Excellence in Scholarship

The AALS Section on Law & Religion is once again soliciting papers for consideration for its annual Award for Excellence in Scholarship, to be given at the AALS Annual Meeting next January.  All fellows at AALS Member Schools, as well as faculty members with ten years or less experience as faculty members, are eligible.  The award is given annually to a paper published by July 15 of this year that has made an outstanding scholarly contribution to the field of law and religion. 
 
Any faculty member at an AALS member school can nominate up to one paper for the award.  Nominations should be sent directly to Professor Haider Ala Hamoudi (hamoudi@pitt.edu) as Chair of the Prize Committee.  Nominations must be received by August 15.
