Call for Papers: Current Scholarship in Labor and Employment Law – Las Vegas, NV

The UNLV William S. Boyd School of Law will host the 8th Annual Colloquium on Current Scholarship in Labor and Employment Law on September 27-28, 2013. There are two “calls” associated with this conference: a call for proposals for presentation and a call for papers. A variety of employment topics will be considered at the conference, including the following:

With one of the highest percentages of union-represented workers in the country, Las Vegas is one of the last union towns around, paradoxically, in the “right to work” state of Nevada. Colloquium attendees will learn more about the impact that the Culinary Workers Union has had in the Las Vegas hospitality industry and the community at a special dinner and panel discussion at the union hall on Friday night.
