The NYU School of Law hosts the 2nd Biennial Conference on Race and IP: Exclusions, Engagements, Empowerment, on Apr. 5-6, 2019. Deadline for paper or roundtable proposals is Sept. 30, 2018.

Submit proposals to Emily Rogers at Topics include:  Power, cultural property, and ownership; Race, genetic research, and IP; Indigenous exclusion, engagements and appropriations of IP law; Racial and gender inequality in IP economics; Sites of new IP sovereignties; Race and inequality in global IP governance; IP and the development of criminal justice technologies; and Disability and IP.
