Call for Papers: Michigan Law 2018 Junior Scholars’ Conference – Ann Arbor, MI

Michigan Law

The University of Michigan Law School invites junior scholars to attend the 4th Annual Junior Scholars’ Conference, which will be held on April 13–14, 2018, in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

The conference provides junior scholars with a platform to present and discuss their work with peers from different nationalities, and to receive feedback in a friendly environment from prominent Michigan Law faculty. It aims to promote fruitful collaboration between its participants, and to encourage their integration in a community of legal scholars. The Junior Scholars’ Conference is intended for all graduate students: current doctoral candidates, both in law and law-related disciplines, and recent graduates of doctoral programs. Applications by postdoctoral researchers, lecturers, fellows, and assistant professors of law will be considered as well, provided they can be regarded as junior scholars (an academic appointment of no more than three years).
Deadline: To apply, please send an abstract of no more than 500 words, reflecting unpublished scholarly work to: law-doconf[@]umich.edu by January 8, 2018. Please do not include institutional affiliation on your abstract. Please submit your CV as a separate file. All files should be sent in Word format (.doc).
