Teaching Methods Conference Calls

Association of American Law Schools (AALS)

The AALS Section on Teaching Methods  invites participants for its next conference call, which will take place Sept. 15, 2017, 2-3 PM ET. RSVP by Aug. 25, 2017; indicate whether you would like to present a topic.

Discussion leaders will present four specific questions or topics (each during a 15-minute block), with the hope that the other participants will provide their immediate thoughts and feedback based on their respective experiences. The goal is an organic thought exchange. This will not be a platform (hopefully) for formal presentation or soliloquy.

This post links to recordings from the first conference call. The second call included Diane Klein (from La Verne) on distance education, Patrick Gould (Appalachian) on legal writing speed, and Antonette Barilla on improving for-credit bar prep courses.
