The Institute for Legal Studies at the University of Wisconsin Law School invites you to the 2016 The Midwest Law & Society Retreat to be held Friday, November 18, 2016 and Saturday, November 19, 2016. Participants are encouraged to submit proposals on these topics or to just come to the Retreat to join in the discussion. This biennial interdisciplinary retreat brings together faculty and graduate students from the region’s diverse social science and law programs for a weekend of intellectual exchange and community building. The 2016 Retreat will offer opportunities for participants to receive feedback on works-in-progress, discuss research methods and professional issues, and develop future projects with colleagues in the region.
