Eighth Polar Law Symposium

The Eighth Polar Law Symposium, The Science, Scholarship and Practice of Polar Law: Strengthening Arctic Peoples and Places, will be held Sept. 23-26, 2015, in Fairbanks (Sept. 23-24) and Anchorage (Sept. 25-26). It is co-hosted by Alaska Pacific University (APU), the University of Alaska Fairbanks, the University of Alaska Anchorage (through its Justice Center and its Institute of Social and Economic Research), the University of Washington School of Law, and Vermont Law School, in cooperation with the Arctic Law Section of the Alaska Bar Association.

This is the first Polar Law Symposium to be held in the United States and it coincides with the U.S. Chairmanship of the Arctic Council.
