Campbell-University-Law

Campbell Law Review at Campbell School of Law invites papers for its October 16, 2015, symposium Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained: The Evolving Impact of Investment Crowdfunding on Modern Legal Markets.

This Symposium presents a discussion on the cutting edge of legal developments in the area of investment crowdfunding, the unresolved questions surrounding this new area of the law, and the impact it can have on North Carolina and its businesses. The Symposium will bring together preeminent scholars, judges, legal practitioners, and local government officials, who will provide a platform for debate and discussion on pending legislation aimed to address the legality of peer-to-peer and small business lending and the tensions between these developments and standing securities law.

Deadline: Submit a relevant article and résumé to the Campbell Law Review no later than August 31, 2015. Submissions should be sent to culawreview[@]email.campbell.edu. As a reference, Campbell Law Review submissions generally range from 10,000 to 30,000 words. The Campbell Law Review will select 4–6 articles for publication.
