Duke Law School presents Whiskey in the Courtroom: Emerging Trends in Forensic Science March 20, 2015. (The titles “is taken from a late 19th Century North Carolina case in which the verdict was overturned because the jury had been drinking whiskey during deliberations.” Topics include:

  • sleep deprivation and decision-making
  • child sex abuse cases
  • cell tower evidence
  • fingerprint, DNA,and firearm databases
