Call for Proposals: Revisiting the Standard 1L Curriculum – Albuquerque, NM

The call for proposals for the Fifteenth Annual Rocky Mountain Legal Writing Conference is now open. The conference will be held on March 6-7, 2015, at the University of New Mexico School of Law in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The theme of this year’s conference is “Revisiting the Standard 1L Curriculum.”  There will be a track dedicated to presentations that examine that curriculum and whether it still teaches what we need to teach. Proposals are also welcome on any subject of interest to those teaching legal writing and research.

Deadline: December 5th, 2014. To submit a presentation proposal, please send the following information to Wendy Adele Humphrey at wendy.humphrey[@]ttu.edu and Susie Salmon at salmon[@]email.arizona.edu: 1. Contact information for all presenters; 2. Title of presentation; 3. Brief (one-paragraph) description of the presentation; 4. Time needed for presentation (25 minutes or 50 minutes); and 5.
